Partners on CBS: The most promising comedy this fall!

Partners is a new comedy that is all set to premiere on CBS on September 24, 2012 at 8:30 pm. The show comes from the same people that gave us the very popular Will and Grace. The sitcom features two childhood friends (Louis and Joe), who have gone on to become architects and consequently start their own firm together.

Couple #1: Joe and Louis - bros forever of Partners
Joe is played by David Krumholtz (Numb3rs) who has lost the boyish charm he exuded as Professor Charlie Eppes in Numb3rs. But the charm is not totally gone, it has evolved into a more mature confidence in his personality. Joe plays the straight guy and he has a gorgeous fiance, Ali (Sophia Bush).

Couple #2: Ali and Joe in Partners
Louis is the gay architect played by Michael Urie (Ugly Betty). His boyfriend is a medical nurse named Wyatt (played by Brandon Routh of Superman Returns and Chuck fame).

Couple #3: Wyatt and Louis in Partners
And this is the round up of the three couples that will be featured in this comedy; a straight romance, a gay romance and a bromance.

The show will tell the story of how Joe and Louis come to accept the fact that there are people more important in their lives than each other. Or maybe they don't. Maybe it's Wyatt and Ali who have to accept them the way they are or move on in their lives.

I don't watch promos more than once. But this was one promo that I was really hooked on to. I watched it at least half a dozen times and then wished that I could immediately watch the pilot right then. If the promo is anything to go by, this show will be a breakout hit this fall. If the rest of the episodes are even half as funny as the scenes shown in the promo, this comedy is surely going to become my staple for tuesday nights. And it goes perfect paired with How I met your mother.
